If you had to pick one rear tire to run, whether trails are hardpack or mixed, rocky or loamy, the Taipan is it. The secret sauce? Well, it’s secret, but one ingredient is the wide-spaced chevron knobs, oriented for climbing and braking traction in the center, and deep-digging bite on the shoulders and sides. A relatively low lug height and tapered design limits efficiency-robbing squirm and sheds mud easily. A meticulously designed siping pattern on the base tread improves casing flexibility for grip in rocky terrain. Hardskin reinforcement from bead to bead helps fend off sharp rocks and increases tire lifespan. Pair with a Toro front tire.
