Get full-coverage flat protection with Hardskin. Originally created for our mountain bike tires, this hardy fabric grid layer is integrated into the casing to fend off punctures and cuts from sharp objects. Bead-to-bead coverage means you’re protected on the sidewalls as well as the tread, but it won’t change that sweet Hutchinson ride quality you love.

In addition to the rubber thickness, Hutchinson’s Hardskin reinforcement offers additional protection against sharp stones, rocks and any other hostile material found on rough terrain. This bead to bead shield can be found throughout Hutchinson’s mountain bike and gravel range and has been thoroughly proven in XC Marathon races.
