Compatibility and Maximum Pressure Guidelines for HOOKLESS COMPATIBLE tyres.
Hutchinson tyres dedicated to gravel and mountain bike ARE compatible with both hooked and hookless rims, within the strict limits of the maximum indicated pressures.
Starting with our 2025 range, all road TUBELESS READY tyres in sizes 700x28mm and above (including 30mm, 32mm, and more) from the Blackbird, Blackbird Race, Blackbird All Season, and Challenger lines are compatible with both hooked and hookless rims, as long as the maximum indicated pressures are strictly adhered to.
If different maximum pressures are specified on the tyre and the rim, it is imperative not to exceed the lower of the two.

Compatibility and Maximum Pressure Guidelines for other Road Tyres – NOT HOOKLESS COMPATIBLE
The previous road tyres – all Fusion 5 Performance, Fusion 5 All Season, Intensive, Sector, Equinox, Epsilon, Nitro, Quartz, Speed’n’Stop models – ARE NOT compatible with hookless rims, unless authorized by the rim manufacturer and strictly adhering to the maximum pressure guidelines. If different maximum pressures are specified on the tyre and the rim, it is imperative not to exceed the lower of the two.
