Il GP Explorer è stato progettato per offrire un connubio equilibrato tra tenuta di strada e durata. Il pneumatico GP Explorer si distingue per un approccio tecnico raramente visto in questa categoria.
In particolare, presenta un battistrada a doppia mescola (dual-compound), che permette di ottimizzare l’efficienza di rotolamento offrendo al contempo un miglior comfort.
Questa costruzione bi-mescola è un fattore chiave per garantire un’aderenza affidabile e una ridotta resistenza al rotolamento. Ciò distingue nettamente il GP Explorer da molti pneumatici della concorrenza che utilizzano una singola mescola di gomma.
Infine, il GP Explorer è stato sviluppato per soddisfare le aspettative dei ciclisti principianti e occasionali.

GP Explorer
Sulla base delle conoscenze tecniche acquisite dalla gamma di pneumatici stradali performance di Hutchinson, il GP Explorer è disponibile nelle larghezze di 26, 28, 30 e 32 mm.
A rafforzamento del suo design moderno, lo pneumatico presenta un’area del battistrada ampliata, massimizzando il contatto con la strada per migliorare la trazione e la stabilità in curva in un’ampia gamma di condizioni. Che si tratti di pedalare in ambienti urbani o su strade aperte di campagna, i ciclisti possono contare su uno pneumatico versatile.
Il GP Explorer è disponibile in due versioni distinte per soddisfare le diverse esigenze dei ciclisti:
La versione a cerchietto pieghevole (Folding Bead) : presenta una carcassa da 66 TPI per una guida più fluida ed è disponibile con fianchi neri o para (tan wall) in tutte le misure.
La versione a cerchietto rigido (Wire Bead) : è disponibile solo in nero, nelle larghezze da 26 e 28 mm.
